Do you like hiding your online status?

Social media platform like Facebook offers their users the opportunity to hide their online status. I believe that this is why the same features are made available in forum too. This can be enabled from the account privacy.

Since you started using forums, have you been pushed to enable hiding your online status from the general forum members? Why would you do something like that if you've done it in the past?

Same with Discord, I can set myself up invisible so that no one sees me online even though I am that way I feel that I won't get pinged Most people do that, even now we all know that you are online, just PM them and they get back to you in seconds LOL

IPB used to have that option but now I can't make myself invisible

Hiding my online status isn't a big deal on forums. In fact, I don't care to always be seen on there. However, though, on social media it's a different thing, for personal reasons.
