We have a lot of members in our community who have been into forums since years and as long as decades as well. So, I think it would be great to know about their experiences with conflicts they have seen and resolved during their time. Here's a question for them: Can you provide examples of successful approaches you've taken to address conflicts among your forum members while maintaining a respectful environment? This would really be some precious information for new forum owners or the ones who will be starting one in the future.

Let your knowledge & experience flow guys! 😇

Requests for bickering to stop without unscrambling to see who’s to blame and who started it, etc. We don’t know the full story sometimes, we don’t know the truth and intervening would be not be a good look as for the professionalism of the moderation team.

Focus on promoting good future behaviour and taking action to prevent behaviours detrimental to the harmony and goals of the community, rather than using punitive action.

You know, a bit like the punishment vs discipline debate parents have about kids?
