From time to time, I'll be requesting reviews from various forums who offer it and post them here for our community to read upon what could be improved and what other members/guests opinions are. Reviews are always constructive feedback we could use to get better from. Of course our own members can always give their opinion on the reviews or you could review AdminJunkies yourself. This topic is to keep track of such things.

First impressions are very good, the site theme and layout look professional with a welcome message and register button which makes clear the site aims and objectives. This is an area often overlooked. It's imperative that a forum landing page gives a clear idea of what it's about with an easy route to register. It's equally important that the landing page is not static because noone bookmarks a static landing page. The default landing page for Adminjunkies appears to be the forum listing which is obviously dynamic and fine.
I'm writing this review as unregistered because that is most likely to show up any shortfalls which tend to be missed and go unreported by staff and members alike. In this instance everything looks great and I particularly like the subtle but welcoming prompts to join the community.
The site speed is consistently good even on first load. That's testimony to the software, Xenforo, as well as a good choice of server provider. The site is easy to navigate and also easy on the eye.
Content categories are clearly defined with a reasonable amount of content for a new forum. It's important that some effort is now put into creating content for categories with low posting rates i.e. a single post in a forum is not a good look going forward. The Daily goal widget is a very nice touch as is the $250 Givaway. Admin based forums are arguable a saturated niche so anything that can be done to stimulate growth is good.
There's very little to criticize here. There are perhaps a couple of areas that could be improved upon but they are minor. Branding is important even with a new venture and it becomes essential with growth. I would therefore consider getting a professionally designed logo sooner rather than later. Any empty space needs to be filled or be gone! e.g. the Feedback Dashboard.
As I said earlier, this is a hard niche, even established forums seem to be struggling a little. It's clear a lot of thought and effort has been put into getting AdminJunkies up and running and you now need to build on that to try and gain some traction. Look around at what's in the news, especially anything relating to social media. Even if it's indirectly related, posting current events, epecially if they are a little controversial might help bring visitors that you can convert to members.
To conclude, I wish you luck with AdminJunkies, you've made a great start

I noticed right off the bat that you're advertising a $250 Giveaway Contest towards the top. I decided to follow through to the thread to see what kind of a contest it is (just for grins and giggles) and it sounds like a referral contest. I'm kind of skeptical about a referral contest because they are pretty common and I don't see a lot of people participating in them. The one thing that you have going for you is how much $$ you're offering through Paypal. If anyone participates in your contest, it'll be because of that. If you are going to do a contest, it would be more helpful to do one that kind of caters around the niche` on your forum instead of doing a generic one. I noticed that your "information" section and your "introduction area are at the bottom of the index page. I would think it would be more welcoming and more informative for those things to be at the top of your forum. I think that would go good with the contest you're hosting. I do like how easy it is to browse your forum and find whatever it is I'm looking for. That is one of my biggest pet peeves is not being able to navigate a forum and find what I'm looking for.

I think your forum can go on to do great things and be a great place for administrators with just a little bit of help. I do wish you and your community all the best in the future.
